It followed the lives of two motorcycle officers of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The series ran for 139 episodes over six seasons, plus one reunion TV movie in October 1998.

Happy Days was a sitcom that aired on ABC from January 1974 to September 1984, with a total of 255 half-hour episodes. Created by Garry Marshall, the series portrayed life in the mid-1950s to mid-1960s in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  It starred Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham, Henry Winkler as Fonzie, and Tom Bosley and Marion Ross as Richie's parents.  The series began as an unsold pilot starring Howard, Ross and Anson Williams, which aired in 1972 as a segment entitled "Love and the Television Set" on ABC's anthology show Love, American Style.  The series spawned spin-offs Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy during its eleven seasons.

Fantasy Island was a fantasy/drama tv series that aired on ABC from 1977-1984. The series starred Ricardo Montalbán as the mysterious Mr. Roarke and Hervé Villechaize as his assistant Tattoo. In the mostly stand-alone episodes, guests were granted their fantasies.
