Starsky and Hutch Vintage Collectibles

Coolest Cops in Bay City!

Starsky & Hutch was an action television series created by William Blinn, produced by Spelling-Goldberg Productions, and broadcast from April 1975 to May 1979 on ABC. It features two Southern California police detectives: David Michael Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser), the dark-haired, Brooklyn transplant and U.S. Army veteran, and Kenneth Richard "Hutch" Hutchinson (David Soul), the divorced, Duluth, Minnesota, native with a more reserved and intellectual approach. They worked in fictional Bay City.

Lots of cool collectibles!

Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!

Laverne & Shirley was a sitcom television series that played for eight seasons on ABC from January 27, 1976 to May 10, 1983. A spin-off of Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley followed the lives of Laverne DeFazio (Penny Marshall) and Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams), two friends and roommates who work as bottle-cappers in the fictitious Shotz Brewery in late 1950s Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Michael McKean and David Lander co-starred as their friends and neighbors Lenny Kosnowski and Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman, respectively; along with Eddie Mekka as Carmine Ragusa, Phil Foster as Laverne's father Frank DeFazio, and Betty Garrett as the girls' landlady Edna Babish.

Here are some great vintage collectibles from the show.

Love Boat Vintage Collectibles

Love, Exciting and New, Come Aboard, We're Expecting You!

The Love Boat comedy/drama tv series was first a tv movie airing in 1976.  This movie was followed by 2 more before the series began in September 1977.  It was executive produced by Aaron Spelling and starred Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy, Ted Lange and Lauren Tewes.  It's set on the luxury cruise ship S.S. Pacific Princess and consisted of mainly stand-alone episodes featuring guest stars.

The original movie was itself based on the nonfiction book 'Love Boats' by Jeraldine Saunders, a real-life cruise director on a passenger cruise ship line.

Though the show was focused toward adult viewers there are several kid-friendly collectibles.  Most of the pics below come from my personal collection!

Action figures (notice Bernie Kopell's is autographed to me!):

Here's what the back of the action figure packaging looks like.

Barber Shop play set...no clue as to the logic of making this a Love Boat toy!

Not sure if this toiletry set is an officially licensed collectible, but pretty cool anyway:
